I had the weirdest dream…

TELL ME EVERYTHING

< So this is me. Expressing my surprise about whatever happened in your dream last night. Unlike some folks, I LOVE hearing about dreams. Was it raining marshmallows or were you kissing your neighbor? Did you skewer a giant prawn with an umbrella or swim underwater with mermaids? Was it just your everyday bus ride but you were missing all your teeth?

Dreams borrow from our memories and experiences, to craft surreal narratives or completely random visuals depending on what is occurring in our lives at the time.

DREAMS + MEANINGS

Recently I completed a course in dreams and I took away three things:

1) Dreams are our inner emotional feedback system so listen up! Maybe your dream is telling you that there’s a conflict you need to face, a deep issue you’ve been ignoring, maybe it’s a change that’s coming. Whatever it is, write it out in a dream journal and break it down. I often use a dream dictionary to help with symbols and interpretations.

2) Dreams are super personal. Symbols can mean different things depending on your social, cultural, or religious background. For example in Chinese culture to dream of a road of rats is lucky. Then again across the world, the most common dream is failing. Whatever the dream you must always take from it what matters to you.

3) Dreams can be controlled. Some of us can lucid dream which is the process of remaining semiconscious while shaping the storyline and visuals of a dream. In WDE Cole is a lucid dreamer with a bit of extra magic that I haven’t revealed yet!
